Lalacle Nonexistent Star
A strange young women from the Island Nations who runs something called a "Taco Salad Guild."
1) Her guild assigns people with missions and pays them accordingly. But What does that have to do with taco salad?
2) There's something suspicious about her. She always says the same thing when assigning missions. Come to think of it, no one has ever seen her eat or sleep either.
3) Sasuke's suspicious of Lalacle too, but I saw her first! I mean, for investigating. I'm the detective around here!
4) Where does she stay? Does she even have a room? I never see her mingle or talk with other people. Is she a ghost? But there's no such thing as ghosts!
5) If she was teleported here from the past, there must be more clues somewhere. I need more time to investigate.
Landis Chido Star
A member of the Winghorde who enjoys frightening humans and whose stunts suggest he may even be on good terms with the Grim Reaper himself.
1) He was building a shrine to the Grim Reaper a while back and was collecting articles of clothing to construct it. He even stole some of Elaine's lingerie.
2) He had an unhappy childhood. His mum never gave him hugs. No wonder he turned out so whacked-up. I heard him say to Hervey that he reminded him of "her." I bet Hervey's ashamed to remind Landis of his mum.
3) Aside from the occasional practical joke, Landis is no serious threat. He falters when confronted with Lo Hak though. I wonder why.
4) I heard Cecile refer to him as "My Lady Sir Landis." Did he change genders without anyone knowing? I'm surprised he hasn't speared her yet for all the meddling she does.
5) There's something up with him and Fred. He knows more than he's letting on, just like Geddoe. Not to mention he thinks he's all that for keeping quiet about it all.
1) I don't understand the weird affinity he has for dead fish. Is that sanitary? Can't you get diseases from touching dead fish?
2) I remember during the war he used to say "Yuh huh huh" all the time, but I don't hear him say it anymore. Maybe he forgot? Or maybe it was a mysterious code phrase!
3) Landis seems to like scaring the kids around Budehuc, but ulitmately he's the champion for us kids! He sticks up for us!
4) I never knew Landis could be so hardcore! He was the last one standing out of the whole entire ambush group against Luca Blight, and their face-off battle, I have heard, was superbly epic. I wish I could have seen it!!
5) Landis seems to be doing all he can to avoid infirmary treatment. Maybe one of the reasons why he gets along with us kids so well is because he's really one at heart! I hope he's wised up and is getting the treatment he needs now.
Leon Silverberg
Leona
Lilly Pendragon
Lino En Kuldes
Lo Hak
Louis Chisyu Star
Chris' attendant and an apprentice knight. He was too young to be allowed into combat during the Second Fire Bringer War.
1) When he first came back after the war, he seemed lonely because Lady Chris was away. I think he and Percival snitch her undergarments.
2) He grew up with six other brothers as the youngest. I hear his older brother is something of a boor, but Louis is a remarkable knight, and I bet they're all proud of him.
3) He's very much in love with Tanya, and it's obvious he would do anything for her. He even pledged himself to her as her knight.
4) He got tangled up in some sort of affair with Colton, and was viciously attacked shortly afterward. His wounds, both physical and mental, have taken a long while to heal.
5) I've seen him speaking with Hugo on a number of occasions. Despite their differences in age, they get along pretty well.
Lu Chikei Star
An energetic girl from Falena with a love for gadgets and an even stronger love for making those gadgets blow up.
1) She's close to my age, but so hard to talk to! Half the words she uses I can't make heads or tails of. Is it a special language they only speak in Falena?
2) She called me a noob and a nub. Is that like short for "door knob" or something? If that's the best she can do with an insult, then that's pretty lame!
3) I heard she wanted to make something called an "elecoaster"--an elevator that spins around in all different directions. While the idea sounds cool, I have a feeling it'd make people sick.
4) For a small girl, she can carry a ton of tools. Plus, she has a crossbow too--she must be a lot stronger than she looks. In a way, it's probably not a good idea to underestimate her.
5) She's putting together something called the "Pretty Girls That Go Dink-Dink-Dink Brigade," but it sounds like even she doesn't know that they do. Add that to the fact that she inducted Roy as vice president? Unless he secretly is a pretty girl... he is pretty good at dressing up in disguises.
Luc Tenkan Star
Previously Leknaat's servant, but for reasons uncertain left his master. He is seen with Sarah, Albert, and Yuber. He bears the True Wind Rune on his body.
1) I don't know much about him, but that's probably because he spent a better part of a year trapped within Cage-san's confinement.
2) You'd think for a magician as prominent as Luc he'd be around more often. But no news is good news when you're a member of a group of destroyers who tried to end the world, right?
1) It's kind of shocking to see him here and alive at Budehuc. He didn't seem too pleased about it himself. I wonder if he'd rather be dead than here, but hey! Being alive is way better than dead!
2) Something mysterious seems to keep him from leaving Budehuc's gates. Cecile told me it's because he needs to learn better manners and make new friends. I'm starting to wonder if that's her excuse for everything...
3) For a while, he was working with Mathiu in the infirmary, but after Luca came in to visit Cecile, he seems to have left for a while. I know he did use his true wind rune, but I also heard using it hurt him a lot. I wonder what that feels like.
4) I see him and McDohl talking a sometimes. There was a ruckus a while back--Sheena was trying to give Luc pierced ears, but Tyr stepped in and took the second piercing. Now Luc and Tyr have a pair!
5) He seems to care a lot about Sarah; the way he talks about her shows, whether he likes it or not, that he watches out for her.
Luca Blight Nonexistent Star
A bloodthirsty ex-prince with insane tendencies.
1) There was a rumor that he ate squirrels after he escaped jail and was living on the plains, but this turned out to be true. I hear he's perfected various ways to cook them. Arthur says he even made a suit out of their pelts, but Arthur has no evidence. Arthur never has any evidence.
2) He took a liking to Yun, but because he never reciprocated as her boyfriend she left him. He's never been the same since and enjoys harassing Hervey, Cecile, Kika, and Lucas in particular.
3) A party at Budehuc isn't a party until Luca crashes it, drunk and naked. I hear he's stolen more kisses from people than Albert. Yuck!
4) He invited himself onto the Dauntless when Lucas when to Vinay del Zexay with Fred. Why Fred holds Luca in such high esteem is a mystery.
5) Luca specifically requested to serve under Cecile as one of the guards at Budehuc. I don't think anyone expected that, but he claims it's to atone for his past wrongs, as well as to present himself with worthy challenges. However, where he seems to respect Cecile, he doesn't respect Thomas still.
Lucas [Lazlo] Tenkai Star
A young man who bears the True Rune of Punishment from the Island Nations.
1) He's very quiet and reserved, but there's this aura about him... it's like he's firm but gentle all at the same time.
2) I can sense why he was the one who lead an army, despite his quite nature. In fact, I think leaders should be more like him and less like those crazy yelling guys you see at the strategy table or on the battlefield.
3) Cecile asked him to watch the dogs, and after she was put into the infirmary for care, he continued to watch them. I see him working in the infirmary, but I wonder if he feels like he belongs. I kind of want to ask him for an interview or something.
4) He beat up a giant crab, I think...? I heard him speaking with Maxine about something like that. Do they grow that big on the islands? Brr...
Lucas (Lazlo) En Kuldes
Lucretia Merces A strategist who worked for Price Frey during the Sun Rune war from Karaya.
1) She arrived in the midst of the huge fiasco with Luca Blight suddenly--however, unlike a lot of people who participated in the Sun Rune war, Lucretia wasn't teleported. She's over 60, but she still looks so young! I wonder if Nash will age like that.
2) There's a really pretty fan she carries around with her sometimes--it kind of reminds me of a butterfly.
3) Aside from Salome, she's the only other strategist I've heard of who isn't associated with the Silverberg family. Add that she's a female and Karayan to the mix--she must be really motivated and skilled to get so far!
4) I've heard from Mamie that Peckles are among her favorite dish, and that she has no trouble polishing a whole rack of ribs. What an appetite!
5) She's really pretty--I don't think Sheena knew how old she was when she first arrived--that's how good she is!
Luserina Barrows Chikai Star
A mild-mannered daughter of a nobleman, and sister of Euram Barrows.
1) She seems like a really sweet and polite girl; I don't know how she's related to Euram, but she is.
2) She gets along really well with Lyon--I wonder if they were friends back in Falena too.
3) Rumor has it Luserina's been looking for a man, and she doesn't seem too choosy. I heard she was interested in Sheena for a while, then turned her interest towards Hervey, but lately it sounds like her tastes have become... more unorthodox. Creepy.
4) She works in the infirmary now helping Mathiu with the patients--she has a really kind bedside manner I've heard, and she helps a lot of patients relax.
5) She gives a lot of the patients tea to calm their nerves--usually orange spice tea. She kind of reminds me of my grandmother.
Lymsleia Nonexistent Star
Queen of Falena and sister to the prince; she has a spunky, stubborn side, but is growing mature with age and status.
1) She's really young to be a queen, but apparently she is! I actually think it's pretty cool that she doesn't let her position of being queen make her all stuffy.
2) She seems to really adore her father and brother... sometimes I wish I had a family like that.
3) Lymsleia and Toma appear to be good friends--they seem to have a rooster named Jerry...? Somehow Roy is involved in all this too, but I'm not sure how.
4) Nash took her and Toma to Vinay del Zexay to buy some clothes. I'm not going to pretend that Nash isn't flirty, but I honestly don't get why people gave him so much trouble this time--clearly he had nice intentions, and all three of them seemed to have a nice time.
5) I've talked with her once or twice; I think she's going to grow up to be a wise queen... I don' t know how she puts up with Euram on her heels though. That must be tough!
Lyon Tenei Star
A skilled and dedicated bodyguard to the Prince of Falena.
1) When Lyon arrived, she must have felt really shocked--I can't imaging being someone's bodyguard and then suddenly being completely separated from them.
2) One day when she and Sialeeds were making snowmen, a squirrel burst out of the belly! ... How did they not notice him when they were making the snowballs?!
3) Rumor has it she was part of an assassination group... once in a while you see a dangerous side to her when it comes to protecting people, but you'd never guess that was true.
4) She and Yuber faced off a few times and she ended up stealing his weapons--I have no idea how that happened, since the guy hides his swords UP his sleeves. That's gotta be uncomfortable!
5) Now that the prince is back, she seems more at ease. It must feel like she can relax finally--and I bet he's glad she's here too.
..:: M ::..
Maxine Chihei Star
A mysterious woman with magical powers from the Island Nations
1) Her attitude at first seems kind of cold and curt, but she has a class of students she teaches magic to, so she's not all that bad.
2) When she hired me to do some investigating of all the magic users in Budehuc, she paid me with a flowing rune. I can't use runes!
3) Maxine shares a room with Hikusaak, but they seem more like unwilling partners in crime than affectionate friends. I don't think she's entirely pleased with the arrangement.
4) Is she looking for true runes too? It seems like that's this season's hot item. Maxine seems to think they'd be better off in the hands of someone more skilled—namely her.
5) I heard her talking with Eike one day about magical scents. I guess it makes sense that Maxine can sense magical scents (harhar), but Eike? She seemed suspicious of that too.
Mamie Chizou Star
A female chef at the restaurant. She is usually confused moody.
1) Almost all her employees are ninjas. She spends a considerable amount of time preparing meals with Watari's help. I think she's picking up their habitual quirks.
2) I went to interview her about her workers, but she wouldn't give out any information. When I asked her about Pahn, she fwapped me with her spatula and said I'd better "git goin' an' find sumthin' better t'do." Yeesh.
3) Horses petrify her. I saw Percival riding with her, and she looked positively terrified. I wonder why.
4) I heard her tell Akaghi that she admires the ninja work ethic. That must be why she's hired almost all of Budehuc's ninjas.
5) For some reason lately she's been running all sorts of promotions at the café, and even hired Tsai, who's not even a ninja. Not to mention she started charging for the soup crackers. What's she up to!?
Mathias Chiei Star
Comrade to Isabel and member of the Maximillian Knights.
1) He came along with Isabel, although the traveling through time didn't seem to phase him that much... come to think of it, he seems very... robotic in everything he does.
2) He's very overprotective--if anyone seems to even get close to Isabel or disrupts the peace, he threatens to... uh.. toss their carcass into the lake? I can't remember his speech, but I have a feeling I'll be hearing more of it.
3) I saw him talking with Hervey and he looked really scary... I wonder how long it will be before Hervey gets tossed into the lake.
4) He requested that he and Isabel share the same room here, which is kind of odd. Does he have separation anxiety?
5) I was in the baths the other day and heard them arguing with Goro when he said they can't share the same bathing area together. Are they for real?! Maybe they are secretly married... weird.
Mathiu Silverberg Tenki Star
A renowned strategist who works at the infirmary when he's not strategizing.
1) He asked me not to investigate him, and I refrained...for the most part. It'd be a shame not to write anything at all about him.
2) When he first arrived at Budehuc, he thought he was dead. He's conjectured many theories about why people have gathered here, and some of them are pretty fascinating.
3) Nalleo looks up to Mathiu like he were his father. Mathiu didn't take too well to this at first, but I think Nalleo's grown on him, and Mathiu's done a lot to straighten him out.
4) Cecile told me he was a zombie because he never opened his eyes, but that's ridiculous. The zombie hyper-paranoia seems to have passed though.
5) The incident with Rekion left him shaken. Not only had she died while he tried to save her, but she was revived and got into a tangled mess with Nash. Poor Mash, er, Mathiu.
Mel
Melville Tenken Star
A levelheaded boy who dreams of being a knight someday.
1) He's the same age as me, but I've always felt a little younger around him. I think it's because he has more muscle than I do.
2) He came back to Budehuc with his father Billy. While it sounds like he was also looking for the golden wolves, part of me wonder if he just returned to keep an eye on his dad.
3) There seems to be some sort of unspoken rivalry between him and Toma. I don't really see the mystery behind professing your fondness for girls, unless the two of them are trying to cover something up...
4) Lu says Melville is a Daddy's Boy, but I think it's more out of necessity than anything! After all, someone has to keep Billy in line!
5) He and Eugene were talking about going on an adventure--I hope they invite me! After all, I have a C+ in treasure hunting!
Miklotov
Milich Oppenheimer Tenkyu Star
An overly-extravagant individual who fully deserves his title of "Flower General."
1) He's got some kind of grudge against Pahn, but watching them fight is funny, especially when Milich shoots out insults in French.
2) Mamie told me he's the only customer she's ever had that hasn't been affected by laxatives in her cooking. I don't think she likes him very much.
3) He writes poetry. It's not half bad. Maybe poetry is some kind of new phase around Budehuc.
4) I'm surprised he and Reinbach don't talk too much, but maybe it's because Milich's hat has more flowers? Reinbach might be jealous.
5) Recently he wrote a story about a monkey. Besides the fact that it had a horrible plot, I'm thinking it was more of a political commentary than anything.
Mitsuba Chiin Star
A scheming swordswoman with a violent streak and bad sense of humor.
1) She's always looking to scam an unsuspecting sucker out of some potch. Jeremy used to work with her, but I think she went solo when she came to Budehuc.
2) Mitsuba is one of the few girls around Budehuc who actually comply with their threats. She has a nasty temper, but you learn a lot about people when they're angry.
3) Eugene fancies her, but I don't understand why. Maybe he hopes to protect her someday? Whatever it is he's protecting her from, I'm afraid she'll be more than capable enough on her own.
4) She almost tossed me out the balcony window when I told her a story about Eugene, and her punches hurt. When her sword was broken she was trying to act more lady like, but it hasn't gotten anywhere yet.
5) After some investigation, it seems Eugene first saw her when she was beating up some thugs. I guess that's probably the most accurate first impression I've ever heard of.
Mizuki
..:: N ::..
Nalleo
Nanami Tenjyu Star
A violent girl whose cooking is more lethal than her punches.
1) She's the most violent member of the SDIS, and has adopted the codename "Beth" while their out on 'missions.'
2) Her brother Riou is her closest friend, but ironically he's almost never around. He promised to get her a kitchen of her very own, but it has yet to happen. Budehuc will curse the day that happens.
3) She hates me, but it's not my fault she's an Ugly Wugglie. I still kind of wish she'd stop throwing stuff at me though.
4) She looks for praise from Camus, but he doesn't give her any special treatment, no matter how much she offers to feed him. I think it's for the best though, especially for Camus.
5) Uh...her handwriting isn't bad looking. Yeah.
Nash Tensoku Star
A man who unexplainably appeared during the Second Fire Bringer War to monitor the conflict between Zexen and Grassland.
1) He's supposedly married to Sierra, but ever since she left him for Juan he's been out of sorts and depressed. I can't even imagine what that must feel like.
2) Nash and Hervey used to get along well, but lately Nash has been irritable and has been at odds with Hervey. I think once he gets over Sierra he'll feel better.
3) I think he was dating Lilly for a little while, but there didn't seem to be any sincere feelings behind it on both their parts.
4) He works at the café; Mamie hired him after he caught a wild boar for the holiday feast. I guess when you've been traveling around as much as him you learn to cook.
5) I've been teamed up to work with him on a mission, and despite the fact that he goofs off around Queen, he's pretty reliable when he wants to be. He and Hervey even saved Eugene from a thug.
Neclord
Nei Chiroku Star
An elf and accomplished traveling busker. She is like a big sister to Toppo and Shabon.
1) When she discovered Toppo and Shabon weren't at Budehuc, she was upset. Nei still waits for them to return so they can perform together again.
2) She and Wendel have pet birds. Nei's bird is named Scarlettail and is colored red, just like its name suggests.
3) For a while Nei was studying martial arts under Pahn at Joker's dojo. She learns quickly, and is an exceptional student. Unfortunately, she wasn't strong enough to beat Sasuke in Juan's tournament.
4) Nei and Stallion get along really well; he treats her like a younger sister. It must be an elf thing.
5) She's been planning on performing at the spring festival along with Juan on the tambourine, and Hervey on the guitar and kazoo. If it weren't for her involvement, I'd rather listen to Lino sing.
Nina Tenfu Star
An obsessive girl who has an unhealthy fixation on any attractive male, primarily Flik.
1) She stalks Flik like a little puppy, but puppies are usually cuter. She has a vicious nature towards anyone who stands between her and Flik.
2) Nina despises Odessa because Flik likes Odessa better, but I don't think that allows Nina to burn Odessa's clothing.
3) She was a strong believer in the zombie hype, and said that if Odessa and Ridley hooked up they'd have zombie puppies. I don't think that's physically possible.
4) I try to stay away from her; she's so loud and brash that it's not even worth it to tease her. Nina's ego is enormous--she even held a poll to vote which girl at Budehuc was the most attractive. She lost, naturally.
5) If she sees anyone remotely unattractive, she labels them as "TEH UGLY." Even with Flik expecting to be a father, she still clings to him. Doesn't she know when to give up?
..:: O ::..
Oboro Chiyu Star
A strange detective from Falena who seems to put more energy into passing out business cards than solving mysteries.
1) He's definitely a weirdo, but not in a bad way. He carries around a little mouse and asked me to write home to my mum to have her make a bunch of hats for him AND Mr. Mouse! I have yet to hear back from mum.
2) I was spying on him in the baths and he kept murmuring about someone named "Fuyo." His granddaughter, perhaps?
3) He accused me of being a angst-ridden teenager resorting to recreational drug use! What kind of deductive reasoning is that?!
4) I see him and Lucretia drinking tea often. They make a strange couple. Both look really good for their age, so I wonder if they exchange cosmetics tips or something.
5) I spotted him in the hallway at Viki's mirror. He kept flipping his hair back funny, then made a face and tried it again and again. Is it some sort of secret detective code?!
Odessa Silverberg
..:: P ::..
Pahn Tentai Star
A warrior of surprising strength who fights with his hand. His appetite is even mightier.
1) As soon as Gremio returned to Budehuc after his imprisonment in Vinay, Pahn demanded some stew. He didn't even give Gremio a chance to settle down. Sheesh.
2) He and Tai Ho had a campaign going last year where they were planning to make "not men" into "men." I wonder if it ever worked. I'd ask him about it, but he doesn't like me.
3) Pahn spends a lot of time hanging around the café. Most of the time he orders a ton of food, but sometimes I've seen him just sit there and talk to Mamie. I hear he's her favorite food critic.
4) For a while he thought the blind seer Leknaat wanted to marry him, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding. Even though Leknaat's gone, I think he's still upset about that.
5) For a while he argued with Thomas over what to do with the bottom half of Joker's dojo. I think Thomas wanted to turn it into a school, but nothing ever got accomplished.
Peck
Peggi
Percival Chiki Star
One of the six renowned Zexen Knights. He excels at handling horses and is known as the "Swordsman of Gale".
1) Lately he's been fawning over Mamie, but there's something strange about his actions. He has hundreds of female admirers, but Mamie has no interest in him. It's almost funny...when he's not being sickeningly sappy.
2) I have a lot of respect for Percival. Not only did he give me ice cream, but he visits his mother on a regular basis! That's admirable.
1) Compared to all the other knights, Percival is really laid back. He and Barts have been friends since childhood, and when Barts lost at a race he had to wear Percival's armor.
2) Percival grew up in Iksay Village with his parents, helping in the fields. But when he was 16 his father was killed, and ever since then Percival vowed to become a knight and protect his loved ones. He's risen significantly through the ranks, attracting a large following.
3) He has an uncanny talent with horses, and rides a horse with great ease. He's almost as graceful on his feet as he is while riding. His horse is named Midnight.
4) His horse is named Midnight--Kathy seems to dote on Midnight more than most of the other horses. I can kind of understand why; it's a really beautiful and noble horse.
5) Percival returned to Budehuc after being injured at the front lines; he said that he was bored sitting around Brass Castle doing nothing, and he hoped here at least he'd be able to help, even if it's just in the infirmary.
..:: Q ::..
Queen Tenson Star
A member of the Twelfth Unit of the Holy Harmonia Kingdom's Southern Frontier Defense Force. She is the only woman in the unit.
1) Although her attitude may indicate otherwise, she's a valuable member of the SFDF. I think Geddoe depends on her the most, which isn't a surprise when you compare her to the other members.
2) Queen prefers to solve her problems with her sword rather than her words. The scary thing is that she has talent to support her threats, and shifty connections with the bartenders at Budehuc.
3) Queen is 33 years old and joined the SFDF a while after Harmonia destroyed her homeland. However, this hasn't prevented her from making friends at Budehuc, but I have a feeling her list of enemies exceeds that of her friends.
4) For unknown reasons, Queen has a serious case of philiophobia--fear of falling in love. I speculate that this stems from some past tragedy, preventing her from entering a relationship. She even keeps her real name a secret, which is more evidence for this cloister-like behavior.
5) So much for philiophobia. Queen and Cray are pretty close now, but Nash still seems a bit smitten with her. Then again, he's "a bit smitten" with Mizuki too. Queen has enough anxiety to deal with about younger Viki's plans anyhow.
..:: R ::..
Rakgi
Rekion (OC) Nonexistent Star
A strange sort of wolf-lady who keeps Graham Cray company.
1) I think she was a member of the Howling Voice Guild, but that doesn't explain her strange shape-shifting abilities. I'd research more, but I need to be cautious around her. She has sharp claws.
2) Rekion likes to provoke Hikusaak, but I don't think either of them have ever gotten into a serious fight. Maybe it's because Hikusaak's concerned about making Cray angry.
3) I saw her on a date with Mathiu. That struck me as a surprise, but I'm concerned Nina will bug her about zombie puppies because of her shape-shifting talents.
4) When Cray gets lazy, Rekion's usually there to whip him into shape. I bet they make a powerful duo when in combat together.
5) Albert says Rekion's incapable of feeling, and although she seems apathetic at times, when she talks about Cray she seems animated, and I've seen her laugh and be upset too.
Richard Chian Star
A peculiar swordsman who was teleported to Budehuc from Falena.
1) There's little I know about him; when he first arrived, he seemed to have trouble recognizing Viki at first; it must come as a shock to see a bunch of the same people in a different time period!
2) He keeps talking about someone named Mueller. Is that his girlfriend back at home?
3) I see him out training sometimes near the lake. When I asked him why he was training so hard, he said it was for Mueller. He must really miss his sweetheart.
4) I hear he holds a strange rune called the "Swallow Rune" --I think I've heard it before, but he seems to focus more on his swordplay than rune use.
5) He seems oblivious to the fact that there's a small, but growing faction of fangirls for him at Budehuc. At least he's not vain about his looks!
Richmond Chiyu Hey! That's mine!
A trench-coat-wearing detective with a kitty living in his shirt--he doesn't seem to have the same passion about mysteries that I do though!!
1) I'm not too pleased he's shown up and is trying to take my client base! He doesn't seem hostile about it, but I bet he's just trying to cover up for something!!
2) He reminds me of someone--there's something so... so familiar about him, but I can't put my finger on it. It's like I've known him forever... Why does he have to be so mysterious?!
3) His cat's name is Bianca--for a cat, she's really cute. I've seen her eying Oboro's mouse though... somehow I have to wonder if friendship is even on her mind.
4) Does Richmond do detective work for money or for the love of the game? I head from a few people that he's really in it for the money, but I don't earn that much! I'd up my prices, but I really love my job and don't want to discourage customers.
5) I haven't seen him in a while... it's like he's gone mysteriously missing! I did, however, see Bianca... she had a mysterious note. I'm on the case!
Ridley
Riou Tenkai Star
An important historical figure who led an army several years ago. He's come and gone several times from Budehuc since.
1) Riou's a tricky guy to classify because he goes through mood swings. Everyone was worried about his behavior, but he claims it was because he ate a strange pie. Normally that excuse would never fly, but Budehuc has had its share of strange pies.
2) One time he got Thomas so angry that Thomas and Louis planned to gang up on him. They never fought, but it caused quite a commotion and he made a ton of enemies because of his moody behavior. Ironically, he and Luca Blight got along well for a while.
3) Being Nanami's older brother, he has a good deal of patience. I hear he even promised to get her a kitchen of her own, but if he was serious then he must be insane. Just because Nanami deserves her own kitchen doesn't mean she can handle having her own kitchen.
4) He carries around a true rune, and ever since he's gotten over eating that strange pie he's been pretty laid back about it. Even still, I suppose any true rune comes along with a heavy burden to the owner.
5) Remember that kitchen he was going to get for Nanami? He gambled almost all his money away on Martha's lottery! I think he got drunk too...
Rody
Roget Nonexistent Star
A mage from the Island Nations with a curious accent.
1) His accent is unique--it sounds kind of Zexen, but not quite. Even though he's from the Island Nations, I don't really remember hearing that accent before from any of the other people from there.
2) He gets along well with kids. After a snow storm, he was participating in a snowball fight and a snowman making contest!
3) He opened up a shop here at Budehuc working as a masseur--I'm not really into that stuff, but ever since Lo Hak left, I can think of at least a few people who could use something like that. He has a business promo partnership with Mamie.
4) He's really friendly to everyone he meets, new or old residents alike. I heard rumors that he's really flirty, but I haven't seen him drop any lines--maybe I'm just oblivious?
5) Although we don't get to see him use it often, I hear he has a Cyclone rune, which is pretty rare! He must be a strong mage to have one.
Ronnie Bell Chiaku Star
A woman with equally intimidating physical and social overbearing robustness.
1) She's Emily's mom, but Emily is never around Budehuc anymore. Ronnie Bell had me investigate Emily's disappearance, which led to "The Case of the Eloping Dojo Girl." It turns out she was just away training and traveling.
2) Ronnie Bell talks of her husband, Mose, all the time. I guess he's a blacksmith because she likes to brag about his craftsman abilities.
3) I think she misses being a mother sometimes because Emily is almost an adult. She likes to dote on some of the smaller children, but because she's so strong they're afraid of her hugs.
4) She helps Pahn out around Joker's dojo. The two are pretty strong, but it's difficult to tell which is stronger: Giant Woman, or Boar Man?
5) Although she's one tough lady, when she starts talking about her husband, she gets all mushy. It's kind of gross.
Roy Chizoku Star
A former bandit from Falena with a nose for trouble, but a big heart as well.
1) When he first arrived, we both kind of picked on each other, but we've become friends--or "homies," as he says. It's mutually understood that while he may be the brawn, I'm still the brains!
2) He cares for Lyon a lot--if anyone bad-talks her in front of him, it sets him off pretty quickly, and things can get ugly.
3) He's a master of disguise--I've seen him dress up as the prince of Falena a number of times, and I can't even tell the difference. I guess it makes sense that the family of the prince can tell, but it weirded me out that Geddoe could tell the difference too, especially since he hadn't met the real prince yet.
4) Roy and Lymsleia quarrel a lot, but I don't get the sense that they hate each other. He even took her and Toma out for ice cream!
5) Luca Blight and Yuber tried to frame Roy for the attacks around the castle as well as Thomas's kidnapping. Their story was full of holes though, but some people believed them because Roy used to be a bandit.
